How to send a push notification
Push notifications pop up on the phone of anyone who has the PawLoop Clients or PawLoop Walkers app with notifications switched on. Use them for quick, timely updates like a running late note or a reminder about new photos.
Open push notifications
Go to Notifications in the sidebar and choose the Push notifications tab. Then pick the Send tab.
If you can't see the Push notifications tab, push notifications haven't been switched on for your business yet.
Choose the app
Pick PawLoop Clients to message your clients, or PawLoop Walkers to message your team. The number next to each shows how many people can currently receive notifications.
Write your title and message
Add a short title and your message. About 40 characters of the title show on a lock screen, so put the important bit first. Titles can be up to 150 characters and messages up to 1,000.
Use Screen to open to choose where the app goes when the notification is tapped, for example photos or invoices.
Choose who receives it
Send to everyone with the app, or pick Choose to select people from the list. You can search by name and use Select all.
Send it
Click Send notification and confirm. It arrives within moments for everyone who has notifications switched on.
Messages are checked for blocked words, and clients added less than 24 hours ago are skipped to protect against misuse.
Check who has the app and what you've sent
The App Users tab lists the clients and team members who have notifications switched on right now. The Sent tab shows every notification you've sent and who it went to.
