Software for dog walkers, built in the open

Most dog walking businesses run on a spreadsheet, a phone full of text messages and a memory for who has paid. It works until the business grows, and then it quietly costs money — the forgotten extra walk, the invoice sent late, the booking that moved and nobody wrote down.

The existing software mostly comes from the US: dollars, sales tax, and features built for large multi-service pet care companies. UK walkers wanted something smaller, in pounds, that understood recurring weekly walks.

So PawLoop starts from the loop — the same walks, the same dogs, the same days, every week — and builds everything else around it.

Prices are in pounds. Dates are day-first. Invoicing is designed around monthly billing days, and the roadmap includes Xero and Making Tax Digital because those are the things UK sole traders actually have to deal with.

PawLoop runs in the browser and installs to your phone's home screen, so it works from the van without an app store download.

PawLoop is free to start — every feature included and no payment card required to sign up. Free access runs until 14 September 2026, when you pick a plan and add a card. In return, we ask for honesty: tell us what is missing and what is annoying.

Feedback and feature requests go straight into the product roadmap inside the app, where you can vote on what gets built next. Plenty of what already exists came from walkers asking for it.

When paid plans start, prices are published up front on the pricing page so there are no surprises.
