How to approve or decline a meet & greet and convert it to a client

Open the lead from Meet & Greets. Check the assessments are recorded for each pet and you're happy with the outcomes — approved, or approved with restrictions you can work with.

Approve the lead to move it to Approved. This is your decision point — nothing is created in your client list yet, so you can approve and come back to finish the conversion later.

Click Convert to client. PawLoop creates the client record and a pet profile for every pet on the lead — names, breeds, dates of birth and their assessment history all carry over.

The lead moves to Converted and links to the new records, so you can always trace a client back to their meet & greet.

If it's not a fit, click Decline and note the reason — fully booked, outside your area, not suitable after assessment. The lead is closed but kept, so if they come back in six months you know exactly where things stood.

The new client works like any other: book walks, boarding or set up a recurring schedule. Their assessment restrictions already warn anyone booking — a pet marked "no group walks" or "not suitable for boarding" flags it in the booking dialog from day one.
