How a client agrees to your terms in the client portal
If a client uses your portal, agreeing to your terms takes seconds. This guide shows what they see, so you can answer questions when they ask.
They see a prompt on their home page
When terms are outstanding, a clear panel sits at the top of the portal home page asking them to read and agree, with a Read and agree button. The Terms menu item is marked too.
If you have updated your terms since they last agreed, the wording tells them it is an update.

They open the Terms page
The Terms page shows your business's current terms in full, with the version number and the date they take effect.
They tick the box and agree
They tick to confirm they have read the terms, can type their name if they want to, and press agree. No signature and nothing to print.
The prompt disappears
The panel and the menu marker go straight away, and the page shows when they agreed. They can reread the terms whenever they like.
In your account, their status changes to acknowledged and the evidence is stored.
