Scheduling and boarding

How to assign staff and handle booking clashes

Every booking and boarding stay can have a team member attached. PawLoop checks their diary as you book and warns you if the slot is already taken, but the final call is always yours.

Assign someone when you book

In the booking dialog, use the team member field to search your team and pick who's covering it. Leave it as Unassigned if you'll decide later.

Assign a boarding stay

Boarding stays work the same way. Pick the designated team member on the stay, and use the team filter on the Boarding page to see one person's stays, tasks and stats.

Read the clash warning

If the person already has something at that time, PawLoop shows a warning explaining what it clashes with before you save.

Change the slot, or book anyway

Either change the time or the person, or continue and choose "Book anyway" if you know it works, for example two pets on the same road.

Check the record

Overrides are written to the audit log with who booked over a clash and when, so there's always a record.
