How to change the bank account your payouts go to
Your payouts go to the bank account you entered during setup. If you switch banks or open a dedicated business account, update it in your payment portal. PawLoop never holds your bank details, so this change is made with Stripe directly.
Have the new details to hand
You need the sort code and account number, and the account must be in the name of the business or the person who owns it. An account in someone else's name will be rejected.
Open your payment portal
Go to Money, Online Payments, Set up, then Open Business Portal. Confirm the six-digit code if you are asked for one.
Go to payout details
In the portal, open Settings and choose Payout details. Your current bank account is shown with the last few digits of the account number.
Add the new account
Choose to add or update the bank account, enter the sort code and account number, and confirm. Stripe may ask you to verify your identity again with a code before it saves a change of this kind.
Check what happens next
New payouts go to the new account. A payout already in progress completes to the old account, so keep that account open until you see it arrive.
The destination bank account is shown against each payout on the portal Home screen, so you can confirm which one was used.
