The four-legged clients

Pet Profiles for dog walkers

Every pet, with the details that matter.

  • Profiles cover any pet you look after, not only dogs, with several pets held under one household.
  • Keep behaviour, medical, vet, allergy and feeding notes on the pet so whoever does the visit has the full picture.
  • Add a photo, microchip number and personality notes, and see that pet's next scheduled walk at a glance.

Overview

Every pet you look after is a regular client with quirks, and those quirks matter most on the days you are not the one doing the visit. PawLoop gives each pet its own profile with a photo, species, breed, age, microchip number, vet, allergies, medication, feeding rules, lead preferences and free-text behaviour notes.

The profile is wired into the rest of the app rather than sitting on its own. It shows upcoming and past walks with cancellations marked, boarding stays, vaccination and compliance records with their expiry dates, and any assessment warnings raised at the meet & greet. Anyone on your team opening that pet gets every detail they need, every time.

Why it matters

What Pet Profiles does for your business

  • Any pet, not just dogs

Choose the species when you add a pet. Dog by default, plus cats, rabbits, birds, small animals and more for feed-and-visit work.

  • Multiple pets per household

Link siblings and pack-mates under one client with shared or individual walk preferences.

  • Behaviour and medical notes

Pulls on the lead, hates other dogs, on medication after 3pm, the things you don't want to forget.

  • Photos and personality

A photo, a breed, a few words of personality. Onboarding a new pet feels personal, not clinical.

01

Per-pet, not per-household

Two dogs in the same house can have wildly different needs, one a confident off-lead Labrador, the other a reactive rescue. PawLoop models each pet separately under the household, so the right notes show up on the right visit, while the client record keeps the shared details like address and access instructions.

02

Any animal you look after

Pick the species when you add a pet. Dogs by default, plus cats, rabbits, birds and small animals for feed-and-visit work, with breed, date of birth, sex, colour, weight and microchip number recorded where you have them.

03

Behaviour notes you actually re-read

Temperament, lead and recall behaviour, how they are with other dogs or people, favourite routes and the things you only learn the hard way. Written on the pet rather than buried in a message thread, so they are there the day someone else covers the round.

04

Medical, vet and feeding details

Medication and timings, allergies, ongoing conditions, feeding instructions, the registered vet and emergency contact details, all on the profile and ready for the day you need them in a hurry rather than the day after.

05

Photos, so nobody collects the wrong dog

Upload a photo for each pet. It appears on the profile, on the pet list and around the app, which makes handovers to another walker considerably safer as well as nicer to look at.

06

Their whole record in one place

Each profile shows upcoming walks and past visits with cancellations clearly marked, boarding stays, vaccination and compliance records with expiry dates when that module is on, and any warnings raised at the meet & greet assessment.

07

Next walk at a glance

The pet list shows each pet's next scheduled walk, or tells you plainly that nothing is booked, so gaps in a regular client's routine are obvious. Book a walk straight from the card.

08

Owners can see it too

In the client portal, owners get a read-only view of their pet's profile and, where you allow it, can add a pet or upload a vaccination certificate. The details you rely on stay yours to control.
