What's new in PawLoop: 12 to 18 October
Big week. Both PawLoop apps are now live on iPhone and Android, so every client and every team member can get PawLoop on their phone. We have also added add-ons for bookings, let you choose which days clients can request, and made invoice totals easier to read.
PawLoop Clients and Walkers, now on iPhone and Android
Both apps, both stores
PawLoop Clients and PawLoop Walkers are available now on the App Store and Google Play. You will find the store links on the app pages at pawloop.co.uk/apps/clients and pawloop.co.uk/apps/walkers, and on the PawLoop homepage.
Everything your clients need
Clients can see upcoming bookings, send booking requests, look through photos of their pets and view and pay invoices by card. They sign in with the same details they use for your client portal, so there is nothing new to set up.
Turn on push notifications
Once your clients have the app, enable push notifications in Notification Centre so they hear about new invoices and photos straight away. You can also send them messages directly.
Add-ons
Extras with a fixed fee
Create add-ons such as a pick-up fee, a towel dry or an extra 15 minutes, each with its own flat price. Add as many as you like to a booking or a boarding stay and the total updates automatically.
Clear on every invoice
Each add-on shows as its own line, indented under the booking it belongs to. Set them up in Settings, Business, Add-ons, and follow the new guide to get started.
Booking request days
Choose which days clients can request
In your client portal settings you can now switch off days of the week for booking requests, for example Sundays. Closed days cannot be picked in the client portal or the PawLoop Clients app. Every day stays open unless you change it.
Scheduling and invoices
Shorter duration quick picks
The duration picker now has 5, 10 and 15 minute options alongside the usual times, in booking, recurring and event forms.
Easier to read amounts
Invoice amounts and totals now use a clearer font, so a zero can no longer be mistaken for an eight.
Smaller improvements
Push notifications quick link
Settings, Business now has a Push notifications link, just above Email log, that opens your automatic notification settings.
A refreshed features page
The PawLoop features page now includes add-ons, push notifications, bulk client import, accounting exports, receipt scanning and online payments.
